In addition to the two main trunk trails of the Schuylkill River Trail and the East Coast Greenway, the City of Philadelphia has a variety of trails throughout the Fairmount Park system, which are managed by the Department of Parks and Recreation. They range from trails that run alongside various creeks such as the Wissahickon, Pennypack, Tacony-Frankford, and Cobbs to smaller trails within FDR Park, East and West Fairmount.
